Company Information
Gentiana Breeding Holland is part of Kwekerij de Boezem BV, a nursery with a 15 years’ record of growing Gentian cultivars. With our team of six permanent employees and their manager, grower Hans Dofferhoff, we operate from our business in Reeuwijk, located in The Netherlands’ largest tree nursery area. Most of our customers are growers of cut flowers, and potted flower nurseries, both in The Netherlands and abroad.

Our main activities are:

As all activities -from research to cultivation and production- are all done in-house, we have gathered an extensive know-how in our professional field: the Gentian.

It’s all about quality with Gentiana Breeding Holland, first of all based on our product expertise. As a specialist we require high standards of our partners; we thus only cooperate with top seed growers.

So, yes we are proud to say that we are the only nursery that has succeeded in selecting and reproducing a Gentian makinoi meeting all quality requirements.

Gentian Marsha®
Is the first new and successful introduction that has been developed as a result of our cultivation activities. Gentian Marsha® meets all quality requirements, and this newcomer has very enthusiastically been received by both nurseries and consumers, and was awarded the Silver Medal at the Plantarium 2005 in the category Best Novelties.
